Novartis: "Get Smart, Make Time"

All of the work I did for Novartis' "Get Smart, Make Time" Campaign can be seen after the jump. More projects from Novartis to follow. What is not pictured is a poster job that they brought me in for after my internship ended, where I made posters for a conference representing 30 different countries across the globe to be presented in Budapest. Very cool.

I made this brochure while working at Novartis, a global Pharmaceutical giant (2nd biggest company in the world), and this brochure was used throughout the United States and Europe. It features the Novartis branding guidelines, but I had created the layout and graphs and such to go with it. I was very proud of these brochures, since it was my first "creation" that was printed and used throughout the world.

This is the inside of Novartis' "Drug Regulatory Affairs" Brochure, which was printed and distributed throughout the U.S. and Europe, with it's roots in Basel, Switzerland. Every aspect of the brochure (layout, font, color, etc..) was my creation. However, I DID have to stay within the branding guidelines, so my choices were limited. The graphs and such were mine, but the photos are obviously stock.

I oversaw the two posters creation, printing, and delivery to the client and they were displayed all around the Florham Park and East Hanover campus (Novartis United States Headquarters.) The department was excited about the finished product and the Forum had an excellent turnout, thus I was happy.

These posters were part of a Company-wide Cancer Prevention forum and encouragement for taking precautionary steps, since ~1,500 people in the U.S. die of cancer every day. The department requesting the posters provided the pictures and what was to be said and the rest was up to me!

hese postcards were made as a part of the Get Smart, Make Time campaign, seen in the previous two posters. The concept remained the same, but layout was a necessary change.

This flyer was used as a handout and mailer that Novartis used to promote the Get Smart, Make Time campaign to contractors, temps, and other people who may be outside the main distribution area. It features the same Get Smart, Make Time branding that I had developed. As you can see, the crop marks are in this image... If you do not know what crop marks are, they are little lines in the corner of the pages where one would line up the cutting blade to make precise cuts. They appear "inside" the colored area to achieve a "borderless" effect, where the color "bleeds" to the end of the page.

This was made as the informational insert to explain where the events and screenings were taking place.

These "stickees" were printed just like the infamous Post-Its and stuck on EVERY monitor on their respected campus. It features a handwritten font to play along with the "note" aspect of the project. The pink font color was not the final color on the stickees but was added for an unrelated reason and does not affect the portfolio piece unless you can't imagine it as black!

They both share the same fonts and merely just displayed the who, what , where and when of the screenings. It's nothing really big, but the message was!
